Today was finally a lazy day for Kay and I. We thought Mat had the day off, but nope... so it was just us girls at home, and we took advantage of that by staying in pj's all day, and watching cartoons! I did clean the house up a bit, so it's not such a disaster anymore, which is nice... and Kay painted some pictures that I think I'll hang in the hall, or our bedroom, haven't decided yet... She seems to have her appetite back today, which is nice. She ate a bunch of leftover turnkey for lunch, the same turkey that she wouldnt touch at dinner last night! She ate about half an apple for a snack, and ate a bunch of noodles for dinner, but refused to eat the sausage I made with it.. Oh well, can't win them all I guess. She took a good nap, and went to sleep easily for the first time in a while. Maybe she appreicates going to sleep in her crib, instead of her on the road naps she's been having to take lately! Mat got some of the paperwork for the new car signed today, we'll still have to wait quite a while for it though, like I said, Belgium teaches you patience!!
We didn't do a whole lot today, found out that Kay really likes the movie UP, which is cool, because I like it a whole lot more than Elmo lol. we snuggled and played, and recovered from our crazy week today, so it was a good Monday for us. Hope you all had a good start to your week too! love you!
