Day 7

Kay relaxing on the couch after a long day

Well, we thought today might be a relaxing day...but we decided to go to Brussels instead. We went to see the Christmas market there, and it was a little disappointing to tell the truth. There weren't very many vendors, just one little group, and the part that was supposed to have a big sled hill and a ferris wheel set up, wasn't up yet!! We did get some delicious wine, and some hot cocoa with bailey's. And some tasty potato filled with deliciousness... we shopped around a bit, and braved the cold to look at the lights, the light show was pretty neat, and hopefully the video I'm uploading works this time!! It was nice to get out and look around at a part of Brussels we havent been to before, but man was it cold! Mat and I were pretty bundled up, and I made sure Kay was plenty warm. She had long john pjs under her jeans and sweater, then her winter coat, and a cute little scarf I found at carrefour (Belgian Walmart), and her kitty hat and mittens. and her purple boots which are nice and fuzzy inside :) She was bundled up in the stroller with her elmo blanket, her baby, and the plastic windbreaker/rain shield that goes over the stroller, and makes it look like she's in a plastic baggy lol. She must have been comfortable because she fell asleep in there for a while! We took some pictures, but not as many as I thought...It was cold, and we were inside a mall for a while, doing more shopping lol. but I'll put up the ones we did take. hope you enjoy!! we are looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow... well at least kay and I, Mat has to work.. ha! lol. love you all!!
